A Virginia couple was allegedly gunned down by their daughter’s boyfriend who they believed was a neo-Nazi, reports The Washington Post.

Buckley Kuhn-Fricker and her husband, Scott, of Fairfax, Virginia, began suspecting the 17-year-old their daughter had been seeing was a White supremacist last week. They urged the girl to end the romance. Friday, the day after she acquiesced to her parents’ request, the couple was killed. The identity of the boy, who has been charged in the shooting deaths, has not been revealed.

After looking through her daughter’s phone, Kuhn-Fricker, who ran a senior center, suspected a social media account that spewed anti-Semitic and homophobic messages belonged to the teen. The 43-year-old then informed the principal of the Fairfax County private school he attended of her findings.

“I would feel a little bad reporting him if his online access was to basically be a normal teen, but he is a monster, and I have no pity for people like that,” she wrote to the principal in an email. “He made these choices. He is spreading hate.”

She also noted that shortly after her daughter began dating the teen, she asked: “Did you know that Jews are partly to blame for WWII?”

On Thursday night, Kuhn-Fricker texted a friend to say the “outspoken Neo-Nazi” was finally “out of [their] lives.”

But early Friday morning, after hearing a noise in their home, the couple discovered him in their daughter’s room. After telling him to leave, the boy reportedly shot the couple before shooting himself in the head.

He remains hospitalized and was listed as being in critical condition.
