A 17-year-old suicide bomber killed at least 50 people at a mosque in Nigeria on Tuesday.

CNN reports the massacre is just one of a string of terrorist attacks that have taken place in the town of Mubi located near the border of Cameroon.

The suicide bombing took place at 5:20 AM Tuesday morning. While no terrorist group has yet to take credit for the attack, CNN notes jihadist group Boko Haram has also executed a number of attacks at public venues throughout the years including mosques. Mubi is also located near an alleged Boko Haram safehouse. The town also happens to be in proximity to the Sambsia forest where the terrorist group is believed to have hidden the hundreds of girls they kidnapped from a school in Chibok in 2014.

Adamawa state governor, Muhammad Jibrilla said the government has increased security and will “not rest until those behind this wicked act are brought to book.”
