Scott Van Duzer made headlines after he was caught on capture giving President Barack Obama a bear hug at his Florida pizza shop. Now, Duzer says that people are boycotting his eatery because of the affection he showed Obama. "People are saying a lot of bad things and boycotting my restaurant," the 46-year-old told Politico. "There's no middle line anymore, and that's exactly what's wrong with our country right now."

Van Duzer owns Big Apple Pizza and Pasta Italian Restaurant in Florida and also runs a foundation that helps collect blood donations for the sick. He has received White House commendations for his work, yet the boycott could do more damage to his reputation than the good he has done in his career. The president, while on his campaign trail, stopped by Van Duzer's establishment and made a connection with him, saying, "Look at these guns!" After admiring the owner's physique, the 46-year-old, 6-foot-3 Republican gave Obama a bear hug that raised the president off of the ground.
