In Omarosa’s new book titled Unhinged: An Insider’s Account of the Trump White House, she made comments about seeing a decline in the United States President Donald Trump’s mental capabilities while working in the White House. The excerpt was released to the media and has been a hot topic of conversation. News reports about the excerpts describe how Omarosa felt many people didn’t notice, but she was aware of his mental decline because of their previous relationship.

According to  Barnes & Nobles’ website, the book is scheduled to come out on August 14th. The book is described on the bookstore’s website as “a stunning tell-all and takedown from a strong, intelligent woman who took every name and number”. Recently, Omarosa via social media posted the hashtag #ComeClean45 with a link to her book.

During her time in the White House, Omarosa was viewed as a controversial figure. USA Today reported her official title was Assistant to the President and Director of Communications for the Office of Public Liason. It was also reported she was tasked with helping reach out to the African American community. She got into arguments with journalists, made comments about critics bowing down to President Trump, and PEOPLE reported some members of the Congressional Black Caucus had issues with her using “the Honorable” as part of her title at the White House. According to various news reports, Omarosa’s relationship with the White House ended acrimoniously with her firing and being escorted off the premises. She claimed she resigned in subsequent interviews with the media.

She is not the only former White House employee to write about her experience. Recently, former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer released a book about his time in the White House. That book is titled The Briefing: Politics, the Press, and the President.
