Update:
A suspicious package was sent to former Attorney General Eric Holder but was returned to Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s office in Florida because that was the address on the return label, according to CNN.
The district office for Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) was evacuated in San Diego on Wednesday when authorities found a suspicious package outside of the office building, writes the Washington Examiner.
Authorities confirmed that the boxes contained a shoe, two kids books, a football, an empty bag of chips and a hat, according to NBC7.
Sources told ABC’s White House correspondent Tara Pelmeri that Capitol Hill police intercepted a package that was sent to Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA).

CNN’s New York office was evacuated after a package was found in the mailroom.
“There was some powder found within the package that was sent, and that powder now needs to be examined to determine what it is. As a result, it will take some time until we know more about the safety of the building,” CNN president Jeff Zucker told staffers.

The United States Secret Service stopped two “potential explosive devices” that were addressed to former President Barack Obama and former Secretary of State and 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, multiple outlets reports.
The Secret Service confirmed the news on Wednesday, adding that the Obamas and the Clintons were not at risk of receiving the packages and they were found during a “routine mail screening procedures as potential explosive devices and were appropriately handled as such,” according to a statement sent to CNN.
The package for Obama was sent to his Washington, D.C. home and the one for Clinton was discovered Tuesday night and was sent to her home in Westchester County, New York, per CNN.
The Secret Service told the Hill that “a full scope criminal investigation that will leverage all available federal, state, and local resources to determine the source of the packages and identify those responsible.”
The package sent to the Clintons’ home was similar to the one that was sent to billionaire philanthropist George Soros on Monday at his Westchester home, per reports.
Sorors, who’s often criticized by conservatives, was not home at the time of the incident. The bomb was discovered by one of his workers, who contacted authorities once it was found.
Authorities are investigating if all three incidents are connected.
