Two pre-Kindergarten teachers at Oak View Elementary have resigned following allegations they zip-tied the hands of two 4-year-old children behind their backs like criminals. According to WSB-TV 2, a local news station in Atlanta, the students were also punished with threats of spiders.

Parents of the students were furious with the accusations. A female student who was a victim of the horrific act on Sept. 24 was reportedly afraid to tell her mother, who remained anonymous while taking Channel 2’s Tyisha Fernandes.

The parents of the other alleged student contacted school officials the following day. However, the unidentified mother was not made aware of the situation involving her daughter until two days later. She was outraged by what her daughter described to her.

“She said one teacher tied her up and the other cut her lose,” the woman said.

The girl’s mother continued, “She said, ‘Mommy I was scared to tell you because I thought I was going to get in trouble.”

The two female teachers were suspended pending an investigation but later resigned. The mom, however, isn’t satisfied.

The angered mom told Fernandes, “It just breaks my heart that I can’t send my child to school and for her to be safe, learn and get an education.”
