Omarosa Manigault-Newman isn’t the type to take an insult lying down, responding to Good Morning America’s Robin Roberts after the broadcast journalist took a dig at her recent White House exit.

The former Apprentice star sat down with Roberts’ co-anchor Michael Strahan Thursday to discuss her resignation from the Trump administration, which was announced Wednesday.

“When I have a chance to tell my story, Michael, I have quite a story to tell,” she explained. “As the only African-American woman in this White House, as a senior staff and assistant to the president, I have seen things that made me feel uncomfortable, that have upset me, that have affected me deeply and emotionally, that has affected my community and my people.”

“And when I can tell my story, it is a profound story that I know the world will want to hear.”

Following the interview, Roberts said on air, “She says she has a story to tell and I’m sure she will be selling that story. Yeah. Bye Felicia.”

“That was petty,” Manigault-Newman told Inside Edition when asked about the remark. “It’s a Black woman civil war.”

Roberts may not be the reality star’s only target, as Angela Rye laughed herself silly while discussing her rumored firing with April Ryan and Symone Sanders.
