A white former college student accused of placing bodily fluids on her Black roommate’s belongings has the support of the roommate who she secretly harassed.

18-year-old Brianna Brochu was expelled for her actions at the University of Hartford and was granted an accelerated rehabilitation that could lead to the charges of misdemeanor criminal mischief and breach of peace being erased from her criminal record.

The Daily Mail reports that Brochu was ordered to complete 200 hours of community service in addition to two years of probation.

In October, Brochu wrote an Instagram post about rubbing her roommate’s backpack with used tampons and placing her roommate’s toothbrush “where the sun doesn’t sun.”

Brochu’s black roommate, Chennel Rowe, spoke at her hearing in Superior Court on Monday. She also disclosed that she didn’t oppose Brochu’s request for accelerated rehabilitation.
