Due to the success of podcasts like 2 Dope Queens, Spotify is ready to put their money behind women of color looking to enter the field.

Black Enterprise reports only 22% of podcasts are hosted by women, with even fewer being hosted by women of color. Because of this blatant disparity, the streaming service will be hosting a week-long intensive program for aspiring female podcasters of color.

From June 25–29, Spotify will host 10 hand-picked attendees in their New York City offices, teaching the small group the ends and outs of podcasting, from initial ideation to editing, producing, and marketing from various experts.

All expenses from the five-day workshop will be covered by the music industry giant, including travel to New York City, six nights of hotel and meal vouchers for breakfast and lunch. The 10 finalists will then have the opportunity to pitch their podcasts, with the top three landing their own pilot, funded up to $10,000.

All applications are due by 11:59 p.m. EST on April 10, 2018. Apply here!
