In the deadliest act of terror in Somalia in a decade, at least 276 people died and more than 300 were injured in a truck bombing in the nation’s capital of Mogadishu on Saturday.

Only 111 people who died from the attack have been identified. A number of bodies were burned so badly, some victims may not be able to be identified.

No terrorist group has taken credit for the attack, and President Mohamed Abdullahi “Farmajo” Mohamed called it a “heinous act,” pointing to Islamist al-Shabab as the culprit. The extremists were responsible for the 2007 terrorist act in Somalia, which was the deadliest attack on the country until Saturday.

Social media users have been noting that—as with most massive killings victimizing people of colorSomalia’s crisis hasn’t received notable attention from news media nor social platforms.

Turkey is aiding the country in the aftermath of Saturday’s gruesome attack by providing military airplanes to transport injured victims to Turkish hospitals. Somali medical centers have been running out of blood.

Among those killed on Saturday was medical student Maryam Abdullahi. Her father flew to Somalia from London to watch her graduate with her M.D. on Sunday but instead, he grieved as he watched her burial.
