An Atlanta-area Uber driver has been charged with raping a 16-year-old passenger.

Friends of the teenager ordered an Uber to take her home as they prepared to leave a local bar on Monday night. 58-year-old Abdoulie Jagne picked her up and reportedly raped her on a street in Atlanta suburbs. After she was dropped off at an apartment complex, she reportedly knocked on the doors of residents urging them to call police. Cops discovered the girl with her pants around her ankles.

Cops suspect Jagne, who was arrested on Thursday, may have sexually assaulted multiple women and urge others who may have been victimized by the College Park resident to contact them.

Uber told Fox 5 Atlanta that the trip did take longer than it should have. The company said he’s been banned. The case only aas dds to arguments that the ride-share company needs to implement a more comprehensive screening process for drivers.

Uber is facing a class-action lawsuit which alleges the corporation has allowed for the sexual harassment and assault of women by not properly vetting drivers.
