12-year-old, grass, police

A White Ohio family who called the cops on a 12-year-old boy who accidentally mowed part of their lawn called 911 again after feeling “threatened” on July 4, according to Mic.

Reginald Fields, who runs Mr. Reggie’s Lawn Cutting Service, was at a Fourth of July barbecue at Lucille Holt-Colden’s house when two police officers arrived after receiving a call from the Krakora household after they complained that Reginald and other kids hit their fence while playing on a homemade Slip ’N Slide.

“We have always been told by the police that if we feel threatened, ‘Don’t confront these people, just call us,’” Linda Krakora told Mic. “We’re a slightly older couple. We have a white couple in their eighties next to us. If we feel it’s going to be more of an issue to go over trying to talk to somebody, for our safety, we just call the police.”

Holt-Colden, who hired Reginald to mow her lawn when the first incident on June 23 took place and posted a video on Facebook, uploaded another video on the social media site on Wednesday.

“Somebody, anybody, better do something about this,” Holt-Colden said in the newest video. “Police [are] being called because the kids are playing in water. Maple Heights Police, you ain’t got nothing else better to do, do you?! Mayor, what you gon’ do?! Maple Heights chief of police, what you gon’ do?!”

Maple Heights Police Lt. Joe Mocsiran told Mic that no citations were given, but confirmed that the Krakora family have called the 911 for both emergency and non-emergency services 60 times in the last 18 years.
