A day after admitting that she’s told “white lies” for President Donald Trump, Hope Hicks is leaving her post as White House Communications Director, according to the Associated Press.

Hicks, 29, a former model, had been described as one of the president’s closest and longest-serving advisers.

The news comes after Hicks testified for eight hours in front of the House Intelligence Committee, where she admitted she occasionally lied for Trump, but not with anything related to the investigation into Russia’s interference in the 2016 election.

In a statement to the Associated Press, Hicks only had kind things to say about the president.

“There are no words to adequately express my gratitude to President Trump,” adding that she wished the Trump Administration the “very best.”

Trump thanked Hicks for her contributions to his team for the last three years and said that he “will miss having her by my side,” he told the AP.

Hicks’ will leave her post in a few weeks, according to the report.
