Netflix hosted a special screening for their upcoming film Juanita on Thursday night at the Metrograph in New York City. Alfre Woodard and Blair Underwood were among the celebrities to grace the red carpet.
The drama, which stars Woodard, is directed by Clark Johnson. The screenplay was written by Roderick M. Spencer and is based on Sheila Williams’ novel Dancing on the Edge of the Roof.

Juanita will be available on Netflix beginning March 8.
