Black Female Judges Make History in Philadelphia

For the first time in the history of the Philadelphia court system, two Black females will serve as top judges.

The high court appointed Judge Jacqueline F. Allen as administrative judge of the trial division of Common Pleas Court.

Judge Sheila A. Woods-Skipper will chair the system’s administrative governing board.
