A Chicago-based establishment has released a lengthy dress code that has left people wondering what exactly it is attempting to accomplish.

The Bottled Blonde, located in the city’s River North neighborhood, is a pizzeria and eatery that describes itself as a “casual neighborhood concept of restaurant & nightlife,” according to its website.

But the establishment’s dress code seems anything but “casual.”

“Bottled Blonde will maintain a classy atmosphere and reserves the right to refuse anyone,” the code states. “A high standard of dress is required at all times. Dress code is on a case-by-case basis, and is at the sole discretion of the door staff. In all instances, the door staff’s decision is final. If denied entry, changing your appearance will not change the decision.”

According to CBS 2, Bottled Blonde operates as a private establishment. The company has a right to refuse anyone for no reason. But it appears the restaurant’s owners provided several. Here are just a few:

-No bad attitudes or behavior

-No Hawaiian, tie dye, floral, skull prints or anything else obnoxious

-No plain white tees, long tees, denim, flannel, or zippered shirts

-No overalls, cargo, bleached, acid wash, odd colored or leather pants

-No Jordans, Nike Air Max, or Air Force Ones

-No male jewelry and no visible tattoos on neck, face or hands

-No hoodies underneath shirts or jackets

We’ve seen establishments attempt to attract a certain clientele with their dress code policies in the past, but this one appears to be quite lengthy.
