Chris Brown has been released from police custody after being detained in Paris following accusations that the “Undecided” singer raped a young woman.

Brown has denied any wrongdoing, proclaiming his innocence on Instagram shortly after news of his detainment broke.

“I WANNA MAKE IT PERFECTLY CLEAR…… THIS IS FALSE AND A WHOLE LOT OF CAP!,” wrote the star. “NNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEERRRRRR!!!!!! FOR MY DAUGHTER AND MY FAMILY THIS IS SO DISPRESPECTFUL AND IS AGAINST MY CHARACTER AND MORALS!!!!!”

According to Brown’s lawyer, the Grammy winner now plans to sue the woman making the heinous accusation, TMZ reports.

“Chris Brown is free. No lawsuits were filed against him,” Brown’s attorney Raphael Chiche tweeted. “He vigorously challenges the charges against him. A complaint for slanderous denunciation will be filed tomorrow with the public prosecutor of Paris.”

Brown believes he was set up by a 24-year-old model, who claimed the artist violently raped her at his hotel. The singer claims he was never even alone with the woman, who was one of 20 people listening to music in his suite as a group.
