Donald Trump Calls Mizzou Protests ‘Disgusting’

Real estate mogul and 2016 GOP presidential hopeful Donald Trump blasted the recent protests happening at the University of Missouri, and referred to the social justice movement as “disgusting.”

Trump made the remarks during an appearance on Fox Business Network Thursday.

“I think it’s disgusting. I think it’s disgusting,” Trump said when asked about the university protests.

On Monday, University of Missouri system President Tim Wolfe, along with Chancellor R. Bowen Loftin, stepped down as a result of the protests. Trump called Wolfe and Loftin’s actions “weak.”

“I think the two people that resigned are weak, ineffective people,” he said during the segment. “I think that when they resigned, they set something in motion that’s going to be a disaster for the next long period of time.”
