West Hollywood Wants Trump’s Star Removed from Hall Of Fame

A report by the Washington Blade claims the entire HIV/AIDS council has been fired, Donald Trump, Affirmative Action

The West Hollywood City Council is urging that President Donald Trump’s star on the Hollywood Hall of Fame be eliminated.

West Hollywood Mayor John Duran tweeted the announcement Monday night:

“West Hollywood City council unanimously passes resolution asking the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce to remove the Donald Trump star on Hollywood Walk of Fame. #horcruxdestroyed #bellicose #belligerent #unAmericanvalues #MakeAmericaintoAmericaAgain.”

Trump first received the star in 2007 for his work on the Miss Universe Pageant. It has since been destroyed and repaired several times, most recently with a pickax just last month. The New York Post reports that although city council members may want it removed, it is unlikely the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce will approve.

“The Hollywood Walk of Fame is a registered historic landmark. Once a star has been added to the Walk, it is considered a part of the historic fabric of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Because of this, we have never removed a star from the Walk,” said Leron Gubler, the organization’s president and CEO.

Because the Walk of Fame is property of the city of Los Angeles, the city will ultimately decide if Trump’s star will stay or go.
