Kamala Harris to Deliver Commencement at HBCU
Vice President Kamala Harris is scheduled to deliver the commencement address at Tennessee State University, CBS News reports. "Commencement marks a major milestone in our student's lives, but to have the Vice President of the United States as your guest speaker makes this moment even more special for our students and their families," TSU President Glenda Glover said of the commencement, which is scheduled for May 7. Randall Woodfin, Mayor of Birmingham, Alabama, will also partake in the commencement ceremony.
Trump Campaign Ordered to Pay Omarosa $1.3M in Legal Fees
This week, an arbitrator ordered Donald Trump's presidential campaign to pay Omarosa Manigault Newman $1.3 million in legal fees, The Washington Post reports. The order comes as a result of the ex-president's failed lawsuit against the reality star in connection to a book she penned addressing her time working as a White House adviser.
