A new study, which was published on Monday, in a letter to the Journal of the American Medical Association found that the Moderna vaccine creates twice as many antibodies against the deadly COVID-19 virus in comparison to its Pfizer counterpart, according to Bloomberg. The results come from a study, which examined 2,500 workers at a Belgium hospital.

Influencer Mercedes Morr Dies in Apparent Murder-Suicide

Influencer Mercedes Moor, née Jenae Gagnier, has died. According to E! News, Gagnier was found dead at her home in Richmond, Texas, Sunday by officers performing a welfare check. Her cause of death has been ruled as strangulation and traumatic concussion. The body of Kevin Alexander Accorto was also discovered at the scene. Accorto has been labeled a suspect in Gagnier's murder and is believed to have died by suicide. Investigators do not believe that Gagnier and the suspect had a relationship, and authorities are still working to piece together a motive.

U.S. Troops Evacuate Afghanistan Ending 20-Year War

The United States completed withdrawals from Afghanistan Monday, officially ending the nation's longest war, CNBC reports. “The past 17 days have seen our troops execute the largest airlift in U.S. history, evacuating over 120,000 U.S. citizens, citizens of our allies, and Afghan allies of the United States,” said President Joe Biden in a statement. “They have done it with unmatched courage, professionalism, and resolve. Now, our 20-year military presence in Afghanistan has ended.”
