Kenneth Petty struck a plea deal with prosecutors after failing to register as a sex offender in the state of California, TMZ reports. In exchange for his guilty plea, prosecutors will seek a sentence on the lower end of the ones laid out by guidelines related to the offense. The mandatory minimum is 5 years of supervised release.
Time's Up Leader With Ties To Andrew Cuomo Steps Down
Roberta Kaplan has stepped down from her position as chair of Time's Up after an investigation by the New York Attorney General's Office accused her, in addition to several other prominent figures, of attempting to discredit accusers of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo. “We hold ourselves accountable. The events of the last week have made it clear that our process should be evaluated and we intend to do just that,” Time's Up expressed in a statement, according to The Hill. The move comes after more than 40 survivors of sexual harassment and assault published an open letter on Medium, aimed at the Time's Up board, in which they accused Roberta Kaplan and Tina Tchen of weaponizing "their knowledge of survivors experiences to help Governor Cuomo and his office retaliate against the women who accused him of abusing "his power and violated their bodies in the workplace."
Viral Video Captures Woman's Execution-Style Murder
Surveillance footage capturing the execution-style murder of a Brooklyn woman went viral on social media over the weekend as the NYPD continues to search for answers. Footage of the shooting shows a woman getting out of a double-parked vehicle before approaching a group of people standing on a sidewalk and shooting 42-year-old Delia Johnson at point-blank range and returning to her vehicle. The victim was pronounced dead at Interfaith Medical Center. According to a report by the New York Post, relatives of Johnson say that the shooter was a family friend.

According to Billboard, Homer's debut collection consists of jewelry and silk scarves, which are "handcrafted using 18k gold, recycled sterling silver, hand-painted enamel, and American lab-grown diamonds."
