A teacher at a Jacksonville, Fla. middle school has been accused of using racial slurs toward his students, according to CBS 47.
David Swinyar, a teacher at Kernan Middle School, has been suspended for 10-days without pay after a parent complained that he used the “N-word” to his students.
He allegedly told students, “You should not be dating all these different African American boys because they are not worth it.”
The school’s principal contacted the Office of Equity and Inclusion/Professional Standards once the complaint was filed.
Last October, Swinyar supposedly called students “idiots,” per the report.
His suspension was approved by the Duval County School Board, on Tuesday.
