Georgia Bar Owner Publicly Calls President Obama a Nigger…Again

Georgia bar owner Patrick Lanzo has made a habit of claiming that he’s not racist, an argument that becomes harder to make each time because the Paulding County resident decides to display “nigger” on a large roadside sign outside his establishment, the Georgia Peach Oyster Bar. Lanzo’s latest message reads, “I do not support the ‘nigger’ in the White House,” but then later told a local reporter that the offensive wording was not meant to be racist. Okay.

Lanzo said, “I say just because you’re offended by it doesn’t mean you don’t have the right to say something just the opposite.” According to a report from Atlanta’s Fox 5, Lanzo “doesn’t feel bad about anything whatsoever.” This isn’t the first time that Mr. Lanzo has been highlighted for his controversial claims. In 2009, he basked in the negative attention he received when he posted a sign that read, “Obama’s plan for health-care: ‘nigger’ rig it.”

Again, Lanzo maintained that it was just a simple health care protest and not a racist one. But, considering that the small business owner advertises his establishment as a “Klan Bar” and has a rich history of catering to some of the nation’s most notorious racist groups, it’s likely that he’s just full of it.
