Ten years after Brian Banks was wrongfully accused of rape, he’s now getting a chance to show his talents for the Seattle Seahawks. In an ultimate story of redemption, Pete Carroll — the current coach of the Seahawks — also recruited Banks to USC right before he served his jail time. A standout high school linebacker, Banks was accused of rape by fellow classmate Wanetta Gibson, ending his career and landing him in jail for five years.

When ESPN asked Banks about the possibility of playing again, he remarked “I’ll make ‘em happy. After all I’ve been through these last 10 years, I can still do some things that will impress you.”
