A unit of the Louisiana State Police is conducting an internal investigation to determine whether officers are systemically targeting and abusing Black motorists, The Associated Press reports. The probe, which is being conducted by a secret panel, is a direct response to the fatal arrest of Ronald Greene, who was punched, tased, and dragged by officers, as well as the violent traffic stops of three other Black men.

Harvard-Bound High School Senior Gives Her $40,000 Scholarship To Another Student

The kids are alright. Verda Tettah, took the stage at her high school graduation and asked that the $40,000 scholarship, which was given to her by Fitchburg High School, be given to another student. According to CBS News, Tettah will attend Harvard University on a full scholarship in the fall and although she could have used the additional money for expenses, she decided to be a blessing to someone else in her graduating class.
