After Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum went back on his comments where he accused President Barack Obama of being a “snob” for wanting everyone to be able to go to college, his wife Karen said her spouse should have labeled the president’s actions as “snobbish.” “He knows you always separate what you say from the person,” Karen told POLITICO over the weekend. “He should have said what [Obama] said is ‘snobbish.’ It was a ‘snobbish comment,’ not he is ‘snobbish.’ There is a big difference. And he knows that. But everybody makes those mistakes along the journey.”

The duo have been married for 22 years, yet haven’t figured out that name calling isn’t ever nice.

Do you think that the prayers Rick and Karen Santorum are sending to their rivals will help them win the GOP nomination? Also, what exactly is even snobbish about what President Obama originally said?
