Last night, Martell Cognac celebrated the world premiere of Maison Martell’s new interactive talk show, Martell Home Live.
The first episode of the series was hosted by Atlanta MC and activist Killer Mike, who hilarious guided the crowd through a discussion of living boldly via music, dance and entertainment. Special guests included singers Princess Nokia and Charli XCX as well as Bounce queen Big Freedia with dancers Javier Ninja, Archie Burnett and Dejiavu Ferguson, all artists who have made statements in their creative fields while unapologetically pushing the culture forward. The Run the Jewels rapper spoke with the performers, all of whom shared stories about their humble beginnings, how they’ve stayed true to themselves and their beliefs while on the path of leaving a lasting legacy.
