The mood was somber over the weekend in Columbus, Georgia, as Kim Porter was laid to rest in her hometown.
The mother of four’s homegoing service took place at Cascade Hills Church, with countless loved ones in attendance. Celebrities who showed their respects included the fathers of Porter’s children, Sean “Diddy” Combs and Al B. Sure!, as well as Faith Evans, Yolanda Adams, Lil Kim, Usher, DJ Khaled, Carl Thomas, Tichina Arnold, Kandi Burruss, Tyrese, Fat Joe, NeNe Leakes, Cynthia Bailey and others.
Diddy, Mary J. Blige were among those who offered remarks, and Evans, Adams and Marvin Winans performed. See footage of Evans singing “His Eye Is on the Sparrow” below. Swipe to hear Diddy speak and to see the music mogul release doves in Porter’s honor.
Fireworks filled the sky during Porter’s burial, captured by several attendees, including Missy Elliott.
