Las Vegas Police Release Dash Cam Footage of Officer Shooting at Suspect Through Windshield (VIDEO)

In a wild dash cam video released by Las Vegas police on Monday, an officer driving his vehicle can be seen chasing an SUV and shooting through his windshield to stop them.

The incident took place last Wednesday when two men, Fidel Miranda, 22, and Rene Nunez, 30, were stopped by police in connection to the death of 25-year-old Thomas Romero near a carwash, Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.

Officer William Umana is seen firing 11 shots through his windshield and seven shots out of the vehicle’s open window.

After a shootout with Umana and another officer that took place during the chase and when the suspects left the vehicle, Miranda was killed, while Nunez was wounded.

Nunez is faced with multiple charges of murder with a deadly weapon and attempted murder with a deadly weapon, The Review-Journal reports.
