Samuels provided TMZ with exclusive access to the surprise proposal. It is reported that he popped the question with a 14-carat engagement ring, which cost $175,000 and was designed by him and his friend, Trax NYC.
In a video shared from the event, Mena is seen wearing a white dress in a room full of candles and rose petals before Samuels gets down on one knee and pops the question.

KD McNair, a rep for the reality star, told the gossip site, “2019 is the year of new beginnings and it’s safe to say our guy Safaree stepped up and put a ring on it.”
A firework show started once Mena said, “Yes!”
“I’m absolutely the luckiest woman in the world,” the 31-year-old wrote under a video of her ring. “A Man who has never been afraid to love me. A MAN who has been here and knows everything I been through. Everything before this- It no longer matters. ❤️💍Wedding date set. To our family and friends- Check your mailbox very soon.
On Christmas day, the 37-year-old said he been planning the proposal since Mena’s past birthday. “From Center stone shopping to Ring design to Sneaking rings on your fingers in your sleep to get your ring size, ordering 10,000 rose petals 200 candles, a Fireworks show in your backyard,” he wrote on Instagram.
The couple began dating earlier this year.
