MANIFEST Discussion Series, Part 1:Manhood and Fatherhood

Welcome to MANIFEST, the continuing EBONY.com multimedia-series focused on the Black male. On a Sunday morning early this summer our editors sat down for a heartfelt discussion with a number of Black men at B. Braxton in Harlem.

The agenda was simple: ask questions and listen.

The men themselves represented a mix of everything from ages and professions, to ideologies and sexual identities. While many of the brothers are noted in their respective fields (bloggers, educators and non-profit administrators, among others), they were selected not merely for what they do, but who they are.

Watch as these men speak their truth about the Black male experience.
