A mysterious package sent to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry has been ruled a “racist hate crime” by British police.

CNN reports a white powder substance and letter sent to St. James’s Palace is being investigated as a racially motivated hate crime. It’s also being looked into by London’s counter-terrorism command. Police determined the powder was non-hazardous but a claim of malicious communications is still being investigated.

The mysterious powder comes just a week after Barack Obama received a white powder at his Washington D.C. office which was later determined to be baby powder.
