Mitt Romney Aggressively Wins Florida Primary

Four years ago, Mitt Romney suffered a defeat in Florida which effectively ended his hopes of winning the GOP nomination. Fast forward to last night's primary, and the Governor of Massachusetts looks like he is strongly favored to go head-to-head against President Barack Obama for this year's election. Bolstered by a heavy bankroll and an aggressive style, Romney won 46.4% of the popular vote, and advanced further in the race for the Republican presidential nomination.

Tuesday seemed to be the culmination of a dirty brawl, as Romney and his principal rival Newt Gingrich slung negative campaigns at one another going into the primary. Reminiscent of a rapper sending a subliminal shot to a rival, Romney used his victory speech to take aim at President Barack Obama and his record on the economy. "Leadership is about taking responsibility, not making excuses," he said. "Mr. President, you were elected to lead. You chose to follow. Now it's time for you to get out of the way."

Will the Republicans be able to unite their party and turn back the clock? Or has President Obama's change truly begun to take root in American culture?
