Atlanta songstress Monica is ready for the spotlight once again with her latest single, “Commitment.”
The married mother of three finds herself tapping into the feelings of her loyal fan base; the song details a woman’s need for a stable and monogamous relationship.
“I just need someone to love me when it’s hard to / I can trust with all my issues / Someone’s who patient and consistent / I need good sex and commitment,” she sings in the straightforward chorus. Listen to the new song below.
“Commitment” is the first single from Monica’s upcoming album, Chapter 38, which will be her first independent release since parting ways with RCA Records in 2016.
