Families To Begin Receiving Monthly Stimulus Checks

As a part of President Joe Biden's COVID relief bill, working families can expect to receive monthly stimulus checks, according to Yahoo Finance. The monthly payments will be distributed beginning in July and ending in December. All families with children between the ages of 0 and 17 who qualified for the latest $1,400 stimulus check will receive the monthly payments, which are being distributed as a result of the temporary expansion of the child tax credit.

Families headed by a couple earning under $150,000 or an individual earning under $75,000 with children ages 6 to 17 will receive $250 per month. Families who fall beneath the same umbrella with children under 6 will receive $300 per month. In total, these families will receive a sum of $3,000 or $3,600 by the end of 2021. The other half of the credit for the 2021 year will be provided as a tax refund next year when you file for 2021.
