Nigeria

This week in Black photos, we managed to capture a demonstration recognizing that it’s been three years since the Boko Haram in Nigeria kidnapped hundreds of schoolgirls, and most of them have not been returned. The Nigerian government has wrenched its hands over what to do, while the world waits for a solution.

Meanwhile, rap sensation Big Sean grabs the spotlight at The Fillmore in Philadelphia on his “I Decided” tour. The tour has been acclaimed by critics and has helped the lead single from his album “Bounce Back” to go certified double platinum.

It’s also Easter Weekend and on Good Friday,¬†Thousands of Haitians flock to mount Calvaire Miracle, some with rocks balanced on their heads, as a show of penance in an annual ritual unique to the island’s culture.
