Chicago Poets Come Together to Speak on #BLACKLIFE

police brutality

In an effort to address the recent police-involved shootings of a growing list of Black people, including Alton Sterling and Philando Castile, EBONY teamed up with seven Chicago poets so that their voices could be combined, channeled and amplified through spoken word. People around the world saw Sterling and Castile’s lives snuffed out with their own eyes. Take a listen and share your feelings on this matter in comments. #blacklivesmatter
