Vanessa Bryant Reaches Settlement In Wrongful Death Lawsuit
Vanessa Bryant has reached a confidential settlement in the wrongful death lawsuit filed against the entities she believes are responsible for the deaths of Kobe and Gianna Bryant, USA Today reports. The suits were filed against the companies that owned and operated the helicopter as well as the estate of the aircraft's late pilot. Bryant has accused the defendants of negligence. Three other families that lost loved ones in the accident also sued alongside Bryant. They, too, were included in the settlement.

Michael B. Jordan issued an apology Tuesday and confirmed plans to rename his new J'Ouvert rum brand. The move comes after the actor was accused of appropriating and capitalizing off of Caribbean culture. Both Nicki Minaj, who is Trinidadian, and the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago have publicly weighed in on on the controversy. "I hear you and want to be clear that we are in the process of renaming," Jordan wrote on Instagram. "We sincerely apologize and look forward to introducing a brand we can all be proud of."
