President Obama’s Re-Election Campaign Announces 35 Co-Chairs

What do politicians like Gov. Deval Patrick (Massachusetts), Illinois Sen. Dick Durbin, and Rhode Island Gov. Lincoln Chaffe have in common with stars like Eva Longoria and Kal Penn? According to the White House, they are all a part of President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign. In addition to the five already named, there are 30 more national co-chairs. This list includes elected officials, campaign volunteers, and a few celebrities.

Five campaign volunteers from key battleground states will be charged with the task of making sure the community is aware of Obama’s platforms and efforts to reform our government. With these co-chairs on the job to advise the campaign on key issues and help mobilize voters across the country, is President Obama’s second term a shoo-in?
