The mothers of Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown will appear in a panel discussion at Syracuse University on Oct. 28.

Lesley McSpadden, the mother of Michael Brown and Sybrina Fulton, the mother of Trayvon Martin, will participate in the "(In)Justice For All" discussion, marking the first appearance of its kind for both mothers. 

Martin, 17, was fatally shot by Florida neighborhood watch captain George Zimmerman in Feb. 2012. 18-year-old Mike Brown was shot by former Ferguson, Missouri police officer Darren Wilson in Aug. 2014. Both killers we're acquitted. The university's National Pan Hellenic Council (NPHC) is sponsoring the free event, which takes place from 7-9pm at the Schine Student Center.
