Sanaa Lathan to Direct Film Adaptation of 'On The Come Up'
Sanaa Lathan has been tapped to direct the film adaptation of Angie Thomas' New York Times best-selling novel On The Come Up, Deadline reports. The feature film, which is being produced by Paramount Players, will follow the journey of 16-year-old Bri – an aspiring rapper whose home life is stricken by financial hardship.
Kevin Hart Hits Back at Cancel Culture
After being canceled on more than one occasion, Kevin Hart has quite a few choice words for cancel culture. "When did we get to a point where life was supposed to be perfect?" the comedian questioned during an interview with The Sunday Times. "Where people were supposed to operate perfectly all the time? I don't understand." After going on to say that he's been canceled "three or four times," Hart shared that he's "never bothered" and does not subscribe to cancel culture. "If you allow it to have an effect on you, it will," he said. "Personally? That's not how I operate. I understand people are human."
