This Thursday, get ready to go back in time on the soul train. Harlem-based non-profit  ImageNation, "Soul Train" producer Aida Chapman Ayala, and author Terrie Williams have joined together to shatter a world record while breaking it down in the process. ImageNation's 10th Annual Outdoors Festival will pay tribute to the late Don Cornelius with a screening of the VH1 documentary "Soul Train: The Hippest Trip in America," as well as live performances of classic soul covers.

Of course, a Don Cornelius tribute would not be complete without a soul train line. But instead of the average two-lane two step, the event aims to make the world's largest soul train line with hundreds of attendees at the Marcus Garvey Park in Harlem, where the event will be held. Also, Williams will be speaking on mental health in the Black community in order to spread awareness, in honor of July being Mental Health Awareness month. Additional music will be provided by DJ MPB.

The event is scheduled to take place this Thursday at 7:30PM EST at Marcus Garvey Park, 122 Street and 5th Avenue.
