Steve Harvey continues his mentorship efforts with the help of educators and leaders this weekend. Chicago State University will serve as the location for his annual Mentoring Weekend For Young Men, where the comedian-turned-author-turned talk show host will host a regional program for 13 to 18 year olds Chicago youth who are growing up without fathers.

Alongside Harvey will be a variety of influential figures including Urban Prep Academy's Tim King, former NFL star and entrepreneur Napoleon Harris, Clarence Waldron, motivational speaker Eric Thomas, representatives from the US Army, the Gates Millennium Scholars Program, and more. The program will serve 100 young men and also includes workshops catered to parents and guardians.

Coinciding with the program, Harvey and his wife Marjorie will host “Steve & Marjorie Harvey’s Big Turkey Give,” which will provide 1,000 turkeys to select groups and organizations located in Chicago.
