T.I. recently fulfilled a promise to his late sister, Precious Harris. Days after her untimely passing, the rapper revealed he sent his big sister off in a joyful homegoing celebration, just like he told her he would.
The Dime Trap emcee reflected on the ceremony in a heartfelt Instagram tribute on Sunday. Sharing pictures and video footage from the lively celebration, T.I. wrote, “I promised to celebrate your Life and damnit that’s EXACTLY WHAT WE DID!!! We can’t thank you enough for all of you Love,Leadership, Sacrifice,& Service!!! We Love You Dearly all of this Life and well into the Next.”
Precious’ family and friends of the late Harris paid homage to her memory with food, dancing and touching tributes. T.I. attributed the celebration’s success to Grand Hustle manager Hannah Kang. Disclosing just how helpful she had been with the repast-preparation process, he added, “Special Thx to my other sister@mshannahkang for making the last minute arrangements for the Ceremony. Couldn’t have done it without you.”
The rapper closed with a gracious message about the outpouring of support his family has received in the wake of his sister’s sudden passing. “And thanks to all the family ,friends , and supporters who been lifting us up in prayer and came out to show LOVE for my BIG Sister!!!” Precious was hospitalized last month after she was involved in a car accident that triggered an asthma attack. According to TMZ, she was placed on life support after the accident and never fully regained consciousness. She succumbed to her injuries February 22.
