Tamron Hall announced Tuesday that TV legend Bill Geddie will be the executive producer (EP) of her forthcoming syndicated talk show.
Geddie began his career as a producer for Good Morning America. He later served as the executive producer, writer and director of The Barbara Walters Specials and The 10 Most Fascinating People. In 1997, he co-founded The View, where he served as executive producer for 17 years.
“From our first conversation, it was clear that Bill Geddie is everything I imagine in an executive producer,” Hall said, according to Deadline. “Bill’s experience and success in television make him a legend in the business. His respect for the daytime audience and his ability to bring together a strong team behind the scenes is unmatched. Bill knows, top to bottom, what it takes to bring viewers a daily show well worth their time – one that’s informative, authentic, fun and compelling.”
In a statement, Geddie said he planned to “partner with Tamron and shake up daytime again.” The television producer said Hall’s new show is “the most exciting thing” he’s been a part of since his time on The View.
Hall’s daytime show will debut on ABC in the fall.
