Terrence Howard popped the question to his ex-wife Miranda Pak nearly four years after their divorce. The Empire actor shared a sweet video of the Christmas proposal on Instagram.

In the clip, Howard gave a toast to Pak. “We have an idea of how long we think life is, but we do know how short it can be,” he said.

“It took me 45 years to find you. But now that I have you in my 50th year, I will spend the rest of eternity at your side.” – Terrence Howard

The actor continued, “And I pray that everybody finds that one that will complete them for all eternity because it means everything. I love you.”

She responded, “I love you too, baby.”

The newly engaged couple share two sons Qirin, 3, and Hero, 2.

In the accompanying slideshow of the happy moment, Howard showed off a massive engagement ring designed by the famous jeweler Ben Baller, who shared a close-up of the ring on his Instagram.

Baller wrote, “2ns times a charm to rekindle that fire, Congrats @theterrencehoward and Mira on their engagement!”

He continued, “My brother Terrence commissioned me to make this beautiful 7-carat VVS diamond ‘BEN BALLER Setting’ Rose Gold engagement ring. Only the best for you guys.”

Howard and Pak married in 2013. However, the public learned of their July 2015 divorce during the closing arguments of a lawsuit between the actor and his second wife, Michelle Ghent.

This will be Howard’s fifth marriage. He wed Lori McCommas twice in 1994 and 2005. He was married to Ghent from 2010 to 2013.

Despite their divorce, he and Pak have been spotted at several Hollywood events together.
