Trial Delayed for Freddie Gray Officer

There’s no timetable in the case of a Baltimore police officer charged in the death of 25-year-old Freddie Gray.

Maryland courts spokesman Terri Charles said Monday that Officer Caesar Goodson’s trial is postponed indefinitely, pending further proceedings before the state’s Court of Special Appeals.

The proceedings are expected to include more written filings from both sides, followed by oral arguments. Gray died in April from a broken neck he suffered during a van ride. Six police officers have been charged with his death.
