Two More Victims Accuse T.I. And Tiny Of "Trafficking" and "Drugging"

Two more victims have come forward to accuse T.I. and Tiny of drugging them, Vulture reports. Both victims, who are seeking to have criminal charges filed, are being represented by Tyrone A. Blackburn. According to Blackburn, one victim alleges that she was “drugged, forced to take tons of molly and X, and sex-trafficked in three states” in 2010. The other survivor alleges that she was “raped by Clifford Harris and one of his male friends in a hotel in Miami, Florida, in May of 2010.” Blackburn is representing several accusers who allege to have been sexually violated by the couple.

Nike Obtains Restraining Order Against Lil Nas X "Satan Shoes"

Nike has blocked the sale of Lil Nas X's "Satan Shoes" by obtaining a legal restraining order against the rapper and songwriter's footwear release, CBS News reports. Wednesday, the United States District Court in New York approved the restraining order against MSCHF, the art collective that worked alongside the recording artist the create the sneakers using modified Nike Air Max 97s. The sneakers are said to contain "one drop" of human blood.

"Nike filed a trademark infringement and dilution complaint against MSCHF today related to the Satan Shoes," a Nike spokesperson said in a statement to CBS News Thursday. "We don't have any further details to share on pending legal matters. However, we can tell you we do not have a relationship with Lil Nas X or MSCHF. The Satan Shoes were produced without Nike's approval or authorization, and Nike is in no way connected with this project."

Veteran Minneapolis officer Lt. Richard Zimmerman testified Friday that Derek Chauvin's use of force in the deadly arrest of George Floyd was "totally unnecessary," USA Today reports. He said that an officer placing their knee on the neck of a suspect is potentially lethal.

"Holding him down to the ground face down and putting your knee on the neck for that amount of time, is just uncalled for," Lt. Zimmerman said.

President Joe Biden has requested that Education Secretary Miguel Cardona draft a report that explores the president's legal ability to cancel up to $50,000 in student loan debt per person. The revelation was made by White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain during an interview with Politico.

“Hopefully we’ll see that in the next few weeks,” Klain said of the report Thursday. “And then he’ll look at that legal authority, he’ll look at the policy issues around that and he’ll make a decision.”
