McDonald's is doing their part by partnering with the Biden-Harris administration to make information about the COVID-19 vaccine more accessible for millions of customers across the United States.

Tuesday, the fast-food chain announced several ways it will help to raise awareness surrounding the White House and Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) with its "We Can Do This" campaign. Among their efforts, the fast food chain will feature images and information about the campaign on a billboard in Times Square, which is conveniently located at one of the most visible Mickey D's locations in the nation. Furthermore, beginning in July, all McDonald's locations will offer redesigned hot McCafé and McDelivery seal stickers that bear the "We Can Do This" design. Best of all, the stickers will direct customers to the site vaccines.gov, where they can access accurate information about protecting themselves and their families from COVID-19 as well as locate vaccine appointments.

“Getting vaccinated is easy. More than 150 million people have already gotten at least one dose of vaccine, and millions more are getting vaccinated every day,” said HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra in a statement obtained by EBONY. “Thanks to McDonald's, people will now be able to get trusted information about vaccines when they grab a cup of coffee or order a meal. Ending this pandemic requires all of us working together to do our part, including encouraging our friends and family to get vaccinated. This effort will help more people make informed decisions about their health and learn about steps they can take to protect themselves and their communities.”

The Department of Health and Human Services first launched the "We Can Do This" initiative last month. At its core, the campaign is an educational public effort to assist the national initiative in increasing public confidence in getting COVID-19 vaccines while reinforcing basic prevention measures such as mask wearing and social distancing, the HHS website explains.
